| Event Description | Baskin Robbins is proud to host its second annual 31¢ Scoop Night in support of the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation (CFFF). On April 28th, 2010 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Baskin Robbins locations across Canada will feature 2.5 oz. scoops of ice cream (served in a cup or cone) and 3 oz. Soft Serve cones for only 31¢ each (plus taxes where applicable), while providing customers with the opportunity to make a donation to the CFFF while in-store. In an effort to kick-off the fundraising efforts, Baskin Robbins has introduced a limited edition “Forget Me Not” Sundae for $2.99 (available now through April 30), of which a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the CFFF. | Event Description | The Shore 104.3FM Sounds of Summer Song Search A songwriting contest where you could win big and make your song the “song of summer”! The Sounds of Summer Song Search is a songwriting contest open to Canadian artists living in BC. Judges in the music industry will shortlist 20 artists, then narrow the list to 10 where the fan voting portion of the contest opens up online. Those in the top 10 will get great on-line and on-air exposure and EVERYONE that takes part, whether you’re entering, voting or just following the contest, will get to support emerging Canadian songwriters in a big way. | Event Description | Yaletown BIA supported by Yaletown Grand Prix is celebrating Bike Month in Yaletown with a photo contest hosted on Flickr to find the images that best capture the spirit of cycling in Yaletown. From commuters to kids on the seawall, from racers heading out on a ride to cruisers rolling slowly, bicycles are a key part of the fabric of life in Yaletown, and weâre looking for the photos which capture the spirit of cycling in Yaletown. Weâll be collecting photos beginning June 1st and announcing the winners at the end of the month.
